We designed a simple waitlist page that would give each sign up a unique grid number they could tweet, resulting in a small growth loop.

By talking to more sign ups, we discovered something important: most people sign up to build portfolios to help them get hired.

We rebuilt Grids as a job platform with three main features:

> Smart job matching powered by AI

> Tinder-like browsing experience to filter out jobs
> Portfolio builder focused on getting you hired

In late '24 we made the decision to focus on other, more exciting opportunities in AI and stopped working on Grids.
